8th Grade  Space & Rockets

Technology Education 
Technology Education is an opportunity for students in Grades 5-7 to learn how to design and build projects such as napkin holders, candy dispensers, and Air powered dragsters. 8th Graders learn about flight and rockets. Students design, build, and launch water rockets made from plastic bottles.

Technology Education is one of the Unified Arts classes available at Belmont Middle School. The other Unified Arts classes are Information Literacy, Music, ForeignLanguage, Physical Education,  & Life Skills .

UA classes for the 2009-10 year are:

5th Grade - 6 week rotations of:Technology Education, Music, Life Skills & Information Literacy. Physical Education is once a week.

6th Grade - 6 week rotations of: Technology Education, Music, Life Skills,Physical Education & World Cultures

7th & 8th Grade: Two 4 week rotations of Technology Education, Music, Life Skills & Physical Education.  Foreign Language is taken for 1/2 year, if chosen.

Check out the Terracycle website where you can purchase products made from Recycled juice pouches. We have collected  over 1500 juice pouches in the past year!
