In 2004, Belmont Middle School was awarded a $10,000 grant from the the NH Department of Education to construct a greenhouse. With a generous donation from the BMS PTO and numerous hours of volunteer labor, the greenhouse was completed!

    In January of 2006, we applied for and were awarded a $5,000 technology grant for a mini-lab to be added to the Tech Ed Classroom adjacent to the greenhouse. This mini-lab houses five desktop computers along with Microsoft Flight Simulator, courtesy of the BMS PTO!

    In September of 2008 Mrs. Klabechek started the Grow Well Gardeners in the Greenhouse!! Already, this group has sold Basil to teachers and plans on cultivating more plants to be sold this coming winter.
