NH retirement system
The district is required to enroll all certificated personnel who work a minimum of 30 hours per week, and all support staff who work a minimum of 35 hours per week.  The NHRS is a contributory public employee defined benefit pension plan.  Although members and their employers must make regular contributions to NHRS, those contributions are not variables in determining the actual defined benefit.  In addition to pensions, the system provides death and disability benefits.

403(b) Tax-Deferred Retirement Plan
The 403(b) Plan offers employees the opportunity to save for retirement on a pre-tax, tax-deferred basis. The money you contribute for your retirement is deducted from gross wages before federal and state income taxes are figured. The contributions then grow tax-free until the time of withdrawal. You may choose to invest your money in an individual annuity and/or custodial (i.e. mutual funds) selected by you.

life & long term disability
Group life insurance is provided at no cost to employees who work of minimum of 30 hours per week. Employees have the option of converting this coverage to an individual policy when their group insurance ends.  We also provide long term disability benefits and an accidental death and dismemberment benefit.

short term disability
Optional coverage for employees who work 30 hours or more each week.  The cost of the insurance depends on the plan selected by the employee.

section 125
The District will offer a Section 125 plan which will include premium offset, dependent care and a flexible spending account.
